To protect your joints and muscles, the STIHL anti-vibration system reduces engine and power tool vibrations. Starting the chainsaw is easy, because STIHL ErgoStart reduces the effort required by half compared to conventional STIHL starters. The manual fuel pump also allows you to quickly restart the machine after a break in operation. To do this, press your thumb on the pump to feed fuel directly into the carburettor.

To ensure that you can work as comfortably as possible, the STIHL 251 C-BE chainsaw comes with additional features such as STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning, which allows you to re-tension the saw chain easily, safely and without tools, tool-free fuel cap, and pre-separation routing which keeps coarse particles away from the filter.

To additionally protect the engine from fine dust, you can also retrofit this gas-driven chainsaw with an HD2 air filter, meaning that your STIHL MS 251 will benefit from a long-life air filter system.
